An artist and a mother, Ella Charette naturally intertwines her two lives together
Ella’s Bio
Classically trained in Russia, Ella currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Ella has always been an artist… even before she could walk, perhaps even before she was born. Comfortable working in many mediums she brings her ideas to life by creating fresh, orginal work. Being a creative soul, Ella is always driven to experiment and continually develop her ideas. Her current focus is in two primary areas, classical impressionism and a blend of abstract and contemporary impressionism.
Her work was juried in Moscow, Russia where she became a recognized National level UNESCO artist in 2015.
Ella’s work is held in collections throughout Canada, USA, Europe and Russia.
Ella has donated more than $25,000 of her artwork to benefit charities which help people locally and abroad.
Education:
Ella has 11 years of formal art training, she holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree and an Education Degree.
